The overall friendliness, clean and lovely food.

It was'nt ensuite, however, this was only a minor problem as the bathroom is spacious and gorgeous.

This is a B&B and not a hotel, so the above classifications are not relevant. Its a lovely old house that has been refitted to have guest rooms. The history, architecture of the house is amazing and definately worth while asking the landlady to see the kitchen with the original flagstones dating back to around 1890.

The garden needs to be done. Talking to the owners, they said that they've not done the outside yet but will be. Its a shame as there is a lovely garden but you couldnt sit outside and enjoy the sunshine especially as I was there during one of the warmest weekends in April so far.

Very good breakfast, which is also cooked. Quiet location, not too far from the railway Station and buses.

    The bathroom is shared.

Road noise of passing cars due to poor glazing. Owners using computer outside my bedroom late at night and early in the morning

Ideal location for train station to Ascot Racecourse. It was not a problem that we arrived later than expected. Good breakfast. Friendly.

Very close to where I required. Spotlessly clean, and extreremely comfortable.

    Fabulous

This is a b&b run by a husband and wife and you are made to feel very much at home. The breakfast is excellent and the rooms are well furnished in individual ways. The place can best be described as charming.

The bathroom facilities are shared which today is not really good. That is the only minus point.

    Fabulous

I liked the professionalism and high standards of service, comfort and cleanliness combined with the openness of the hostess and her family and their delightful idiosyncrasies. The lizards and snakes, the big tree wood carving and, the plants and horticulture add a lovely dimension turning an ordinary guest house stay into something special. The house - in structure and dimensions is also most unusual. V. fitting.

The location is great, and was easy to find. Some reviews have said they have found it hard to find, open your eyes and look for the sign clearly visible from the road, and this was found in the dark! Clean rooms and Mary the owner is very welcoming. Very quirky and interesting and great value for money. Would certainly come back to stay. Ample parking. Nice bathroom adjacent to the yellow room with a big bath!

Warm friendly welcome, excellent facilities, willingness to accommodate my dietary requirements, a very pleasant atmosphere overall. Staying here made a special weekend even more agreeable.

My stay at Heatherbank was brilliant - the room was really (really) big and the owners were really friendly and talktative which is relaxing. The house is very old fashioned, very clean, and very spacious and the breakfast provided the next morning was very tasty! You do not have an ensuite but there was a toilet and seperate bathroom/toilet right outside my room so I really wasn't bothered about this. All in all I would give the place 11 out of 10!
